Accordion – Memory problem (page slow down)

Hi,

In a page with many accordion modules, after opening a few of them, the page slows to a crawl, forcing the user to reload. It seems like a memory problem and, apparently, the mobile version is not affected by this issue.

I was told that the issue was identified and would be solved in the next plugin update, but the last update didn´t solve it.

Can you update me on this matter?

Thank you,

Jonathan

It’s working find from me and our team members’ end.

Can you please let me know which browser you’re using?

Hi,

Chrome (both normal and incognito mode) and Brave. I tried it on another computer with Chrome and the same happened.

Both this memory issue and the slightly jumpy accordion opening animation still happen. I don´t remember it happening when the page was created though, maybe it has to do with some later update.

Any idea would be appreciated. Increasing the PHP memory limit did not seem to help, only reloading works.

Thanks,

@jonathantorralba Please update plugin to the latest version and check if it solves the problem.

Let us know if you still face the issue.

@istiak

It seems the update solved the memory issue, thanks.

What is not solved, however, is the jumpy non-smooth animation when opening any accordion block (at the end of the animation).
I don´t remember this happening on earlier versions of the plug-in either. If this could be fixed it would be great.

Many thanks,

Jonathan

@jonathantorralba It’s not happening from my end. Is it possible to send a video recording to this email address (support@ultimateblocks.com)?

@jonathantorralba

It’s happening because you’ve enabled the “Show only one panel at a time” option.

When this option is enabled, the opened accordion gets closed when you open another accordion. That’s why it looks different.

You won’t face the issue when you disabled this option.
