How To Create A Nested (Multi-level) Accordion In WordPress

create a nested accordion

Accordions always help you to organize and display so much content in a collapsible place. This accordion helps you especially for showing FAQs in front of your visitors. However, sometimes you might need accordions inside an accordion or Nestes Accordions.

By default, you will not be able to create a nested accordion. But with help of the Ultimate Blocks plugin, it can be done very easily. Besides Ultimate Blocks not only allows you to create nested accordions only but also allows you to add advanced blocks on your Website.

Let’s see.

How To Create A Nested Accordion In WordPress

To create a nested accordion in WordPress, at first install Ultimate Blocks on your WordPress website.

Don’t forget to activate the plugin after you install it. Open the page or post where you want to create a nested accordion. Click on the ‘+’ button to add new blocks and search for ‘Content Toggle’.

Give a suitable title and then again click on the ‘+’ button and add ‘content toggle’ block.

In this way, you can add multiple content toggle blocks inside another block. In this way, a nested accordion will be created (one accordion inside another).

You can also customize your content toggle (or accordion) from the block menu.

In this way, you can create nested accordion content. After you create your nested accordion, check its preview. Here I have created two additional accordions inside another.

Last Words

This is a pretty easy process to create a nested accordion. After you create one, customize and add content according to your need. If you face any issues, feel free to contact. No, it’s only for the Block Editor (Gutenberg).

For Elementor, you can use Essential Addons (https://wordpress.org/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/).
