The Video Block is designed to enhance your web content presentation by displaying videos into web posts and pages. This block is useful in showcasing short clips, tutorials, product demonstrations, educational content, and engaging storytelling. This documentation post will explain how to use the Video block.
Adding the Video Block #
Click the Plus (+) icon on the editor. Type Video (UB) in the search box. Once the block appears, add it to the editor by clicking it.

You can add a video from your local drive or from the media library. Choose the respective option for that.
After a video is selected, don’t forget to add a title for it. Then, press the Select button.
The video will be displayed on the editor.
General Settings #
Under the Settings tab on the right sidebar, you’ll get the following settings options.
Visibility Control – Hide the block from anyone based on role.
Animation – Covers 50+ animation effects. Choose the one that you want for the block.
Responsive Control – Hide the block from any device type.
General – You can enable the player controls, autoplay, custom start time, loop, mute on page load, custom thumbnail, aspect ratio, and autofit video embed.
Customization #
Finally, come to the Styles tab. You’ll get the following options in this tab.
Border – Add a border color and its thickness.
Shadow – Allows the display of a shadow for the block and configuration of its color, angle, and opacity.
Dimension Settings – It lets you set padding and margin for the block’s layout.

It’s impossible to deny the importance of video clips in web content today. Because often a 10-second video can easily deliver a message that sometimes requires 1000-word content. Plus, you need to present the video content in eye-catching ways so people love to see and enjoy it.
