The Styles tab in WordPress is a feature that allows you to customize the appearance of your blocks without having to write any code. However, some users may be having trouble finding the Styles tab.

In this post, I am going to show you where you can find the Styles tab.

Where is The Styles Tab?

The styles tab is a tab where one can set different styles for his block. One can add filters, borders, radius, and other effects in the block using styles tab. 

Styles Tab in Post/Page

When you are editing a page or post, you can easily access the Styles tab. First, click on the block and then hit the settings icon on the top right corner of your page.

Then click on the Block tab; under the Block tab, you will find the Settings and styles tab. Click on the Styles tab. Now customize the style of your block as you like. Keep in mind all of the blocks of Gutenberg don’t come with style tab.

Style Tab in Global

If you like to access the global style tab then navigate to Appearance -> Editor.

Here, you will find the Global Style tab. 

Click Styles. Then you can choose any preset or click on ‘Edit Styles’. 

From here, you can change styles globally. You will be able to change typography, color, layout, etc. 

All the changes you make will be affected everywhere.

Why is The Styles Tab Missing?

Keep in mind all of the themes and blocks of Gutenberg don’t come with style tab. Blocks like images, videos, portfolios, and other blocks come with style tab. Text and Heading related blocks usually don’t come with style tab. 

Generally, the latest block themes come with the style tab. Gradually all the themes are bringing this feature. 

What Can You Do With The Styles Tab?

With the help of the style tab, you will be able to customize the appearance of your website in a lot of ways. You will be able to change the fonts, colors, and layouts of a block in your website.
