Change YouTube Embed Size in WordPress

The simplest way to resize an embedded YouTube video is to modify the embed code directly. When you copy the embed code from YouTube, it will include a width and height parameter. You can simply adjust these values to your desired dimensions.

To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open The YouTube Video Embed Link

 Open the YouTube Video that you want to embed. Click on the share button and hit ‘Embed’.

Here, you will find the embed code for the video. 

Step 2: Change YouTube Embed Size

At the beginning of the code, you will find the embed size (width, height) of the video.

Set the video width and height as you like and copy the code. 

Step 3: Embed YouTube Video

Now open the page post, where you want to embed the YouTube video. Click on the add block button and search for the ‘custom html’ block. 

Insert the block by clicking on it. Paste the code that you copied earlier in the blank field. 

Here, I have set the width as 400 and the height as 300. Hit the publish or update button, and you are done.
