In today’s landscape, establishing a strong online presence for business is crucial. Whether you run an e-commerce store or a local bakery, having a well-designed website is just the beginning. To truly cater to your customers and provide them with a seamless experience, you need to offer them the necessary information like business hours. 

This info helps them get service at the right time. If you don’t know how to add business hours in your website, don’t worry. 

In this post, I will guide you to add business hours in WordPress. Just follow the whole post, and then you will be able to add your own business hours in your website.

Add Business Hours in WordPress

To add business hours in WordPress, we are going to use a plugin named Business Hours Indicator. This plugin is enough to add and maintain your business hours. 

Step 1: Install Business Hours Indicator

First of all, navigate to Plugins -> Add new and install Business hours Indicator. 

After the installation is complete, don’t forget to activate the plugin. 

Step 2: Configure Settings

Now, navigate to Settings -> Business Hours Indicator. 

From the General tab, choose your time zone and time format. 

Next, click on the Hours tab and add at least one location. 

Step 3: Edit Opening Hours

Click on ‘Edit hours’ and set the time and date, when you are closed. 

If you are closed for the whole day, leave the hours blank. 

Then don’t forget to hit the Done button. 

Similarly, you can set specific holidays and vacations by clicking on the ‘Holidays’ and ‘Vacation’ buttons. 

Step 4: Set The Message

Switch to the Indicator tab and set your ‘Now open’ and ‘Now Closed’ messages.

Step 5: Add Business Hours to Page

Finally, switch to the Code tab and copy your desired shortcode. 

Open the page or post where you want to add business hours. 

Click on the Add block button and search for ‘shortcode’. Insert the block by clicking on it. 

Paste the shortcode. Don’t forget to write the location inside the quotation, that you created earlier. I have created business hours for Dhaka. 

Save the changes, and you will see your business hours in Action.
