In this method, all you have to do is keep the PDF in Google Drive and embed it in WordPress. You don’t have to use any plugins for the procedure.

Step 1: Upload a PDF File in Google Drive

First, log in to your Google Drive account. Then upload the pdf to your drive account. Just click on the new button.

Then click on the ‘File upload’.

A pop-up will open, and then you select the pdf file from your computer.

Step 2: Make The PDF Accessible

Then, you have to open the pdf file that you uploaded in Google Drive by double-clicking on it. From the top right corner of the menu bar, select the share option.

A popup will now appear with, Share with people and groups. Click on ‘Restricted’.

Then select ‘Anyone with the link’ and press the Done button.

If you don’t want your PDF to be downloaded, printed, or copied by your users, navigate to share options.

Click on the Advanced button on the top right and remove the tick on ‘Viewers and commenters can see the option to download, print, and copy.

Now click anywhere.

The default configuration is enough to embed a pdf, but if you want to customize settings, you can do it from Settings -> PDF Embedder.
