wordpress login url

If you are a beginner then you might find difficulties in logging to your WordPress account. You might not find your WordPress login URL. if you don’t find the login URL, then forget about entering passwords.

In this post, I will show you how to find your WordPress login URL. After that, I believe you won’t forget your WordPress login URL. Let’s begin then.

How To Find Your WordPress Login URL

On a successful WordPress installation by default, the link of your WordPress will be like

www.example.com/wp-admin

Or a typical WordPress site login URL can be like the below URL:

www.example.com/admin/

www.example.com/login/

Don’t forget to replace your domain name with ‘example.com’

Then the redirected URL will take you to your login page.

If you have installed WordPress in a subdirectory like /wordpress/, then you need to access your WordPress login page like below:

www.example.com/wordpress/login

www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php

If you installed WordPress in a subdomain then you can access the WordPress admin URL like below:

subdomain.example.com/wp-login.php

subdomain.example.com/login

subdomain.example.com/wp-admin

Once you log in successfully you will be redirected to the WordPress admin area of your website. Which is located in the wp-admin folder.

You can access your admin area directly by entering a URL like below:

www.example.com/wp-admin

www.example.com/admin

This URL checks if you were logged in previously and if your session is still active. If both are true then you will be redirected to the WOrdpress dashboard. If your session has expired, then you will be redirected to the login page and you will have to login again.

How To Remember you Login URL

If you set any difficult URL, then it’s going to be hard to remember. If you don’t want to put pressure on your brain, then let your browser remember it.

From your browser:
