Testimonials are the golden nuggets of social proof – glowing endorsements from satisfied customers that build trust and credibility for your brand. These testimonials allows visitors to hear success stories from real people, significantly impacting theri perception of your services or products.

Adding Testimonial Without Using a Plugin
WordPress’s built-in block editor provides a user-friendly way to incorporate testimonials directly within your posts and pages. To add one, follow the below steps.
Step 1: Add the Quote Block
To add a testimonial in WordPress, at first open the page or post where you want to add a testimonial. Now click the Add block (+) button to add a block and search for ‘Quote’.
Click on it, and it will be added to your post.
Step 2: Add your Testimonial Content
Write your testimonial in the first field, and then in the citation field add the person’s name.
Step 3: Customize
Click on the block and then click on the block settings.
Hit the style tab to customize the color of text, background, link, typography, etc.
Adding Testimonial Using Plugin
If the default quote block doesn’t meet your testimonial needs, then you can use Ultimate Blocks to create marvelous testimonials. It’s free and comes with 20+ intuitive blocks that make your editor easier than ever. To do it, follow these steps and then try yourself.
Step 1: Install the Ultimate Blocks Plugin
From your dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add new Plugin and search for ‘Ultimate Blocks’.
Click on the ‘Install Now’ button and install it. After the installation is complete, don’t forget to activate the plugin.
Step 2: Add the Testimonial Block
Open the page/ post where you want to add testimonials. Click on the add block button and search for the ‘Testimonial’ block.
Click on the block to insert it.
Step 3: Add Testimonial Content
Now that you have added the testimonial block, it’s time to add content.
Click on the upload image button and upload an image of the testimonial’s person.
Next, click on the testimonial body and write a description.
In the same way, write name and designation.
Step 4: Customize the Block
Finally, customize your block from the block settings.
Hit the styles tab and alter the font color, background color, font size, dimension, etc.
Finally, your testimonial will look something like the one below.
