To upload a pdf file, login to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Media. Now click on the Add New button.
After that, you will find a box, you can upload your pdf file by dragging it here or clicking on the Select Files button.
Choose your pdf file and click on the upload button, and your file will be uploaded.
Add a Downloadable PDF File to WordPress
Open a page or post where you want to add a downloadable PDF file. Click on the Add block button and search for ‘File’.
Insert the block by clicking on it. Then click on the Media Library button and choose the PDF file that you uploaded.
As soon as you choose the PDF file, its preview will be shown in the editor. If you don’t want to give a preview of the file to its viewers, just toggle on ‘Show inline embed’.
You can also adjust other settings, and when you are satisfied, publish the page.
This PDF file can be downloaded by clicking on the download icon or download button.
