Let’s begin.

Creating a Testimonial Slider in WordPress

Here, I am using the Testimonial Slider plugin to create a testimonial slider.

Step 1: Install the Testimonial Slider Plugin

First, download and install the Testimonial Slider plugin from the WordPress plugin’s repository. Don’t forget to activate the plugin.

Step 2: Add Testimonials

Now navigate to Testimonial -> Add Testimonial and add your testimonials.

Write testimonial title, details and all other information according to your need.

Don’t forget to set the featured image. Finally hit the Publish button.

In this way, create as many testimonials as you need.

Step 3: Create a Testimonial Slider

As you have created testimonials in earlier steps, now navigate to testimonial -> Shortcode and click on the “Add New Post” button.

Choose the layout type, layout style, and other settings from the Layout settings.

After you alter the settings, don’t forget to check the preview in the bottom.

Now click on the filtering tab and adjust the settings as you require. You can set the limit, include, exclude, and other options.

There are also two more tabs; you may adjust settings from there also. When you are done, click on the “publish” button on the top right side.

Copy the shortcode.

Step 4: Embed Your Testimonial Slider

Now open the page or post where you want to publish your testimonial. Insert a shortcode block by clicking the add block button.

Now paste the shortcode, in the shortcode block and save the post/page.

Check the preview, and you will see your testimonial in action.
