Centering web content makes a huge difference in its visual appeal and readability.
In WordPress, knowing how to center a block properly—whether it’s an image, paragraph, or any other content block—can enhance your design and focus attention where it matters.
Today, we will show you the steps to easily center a block in WordPress, ensuring your content looks polished and well-structured.
How to Center A Block in WordPress
WordPress’s block editor makes it simple to center blocks with built-in alignment options. Therefore, there is no use in installing any third-party plugin to center a block.
Follow the steps below and easily center any block in WordPress’s Gutenberg Block editor.
Step 1: Go to Your Post or Page
Navigate Posts/Pages(1) > All Posts (2) and edit that post or page (3) to go to your post or page.
Step 2: Select the Block
You can center any block you want. But before centering your block, you must choose your block simply by clicking on the block.
Step 3: Change the Alignment
For each block, there is the option of adjusting the alignment. For instance, when selecting the image block, you need to click on the Align option (1) first and select the “Align Center” option (2) to display the image block in the center.
And that’s how your image block is in the center.
It is not the same for the heading and paragraph block. You must change the Align Text option for the Paragraph and Heading blocks.
Select the paragraph block or heading block, click “Align Text” (1), and select “Align Text Center” (2). That will do the trick of centering the heading and paragraph blocks.
