Why Use a Searchable Table?

Creating a Searchable Table in WordPress

To create a searchable table, you need to use the ‘Table Block by Tableberg’ plugin. Then follow the steps below.

Step 1: Install the Tableberg Plugin

From your dashboard, navigate to Plugins -> Add New Plugin and search for ‘Table Block by Tableberg’.

Install the plugin, and don’t forget to activate it.

For creating a searchable table you need to purchase the pro version of the plugin. Navigate to the pricing page and choose your desired plan.

You can buy either yearly plans or lifetime plans, choice is yours. Then, activate the pro version by following the instructions, which will be forwarded to you via email.

Step 2: Create a Table

Open the page/post where you want to create a table. Click on the ‘Add block’ button and search for the ‘Tableberg’ block.

Then, create your own table or choose a pre-built table. I am choosing a pre-built table.

Choose any pre-built table that you like. Just click on it, and it will be inserted.

Step 3: Add Search Option in Table

Select the block and then open block settings.

Scroll below and toggle the ‘Enable search’ option.

Step 4: Customize Search Box

If you like to add any placeholder, write your desired text on the field of ‘Search Placeholder’’.

You can also adjust the search box position to left, right, center, or wide.

Finally, you will have a table with a search function like below.
