Want learn how to use the content block in WordPress?
If you want that, you can do that easily if you use the content block. However, the content block is not something you will see in your editor when editing posts or pages.
Even if you search for the content block in the editor, you will see nothing. It is only visible when you are editing a template.
Today, in this guide, we will walk you through how to use the content block in WordPress, providing the flexibility to style whole layouts easily.
What is the Content Block?
The Content Block is like an umbrella that holds all the other blocks together. It is like the Group Block that holds all the blocks in one place and lets you edit the styles for overall blocks. This is the one common thing between the content and group block.
However, the difference between the group and content blocks is that the content can pull all the blocks and their layouts from a dedicated page in the dedicated page template without re-designing them. In contrast, the group block cannot do that.
Another comparison is that the group block can be used on any page or post; conversely, the content block is visible only in the theme templates and pages.
The Content block lets you change the global settings for a page as you can edit the page backgrounds, text color, typography, block spacing, height, width, etc.
The content block unifies all other blocks you use to decorate your webpage. All of your content is the content block.
Now, let’s learn how to use the content block in WordPress below.
